Heat Production Optimization
Heat Production Optimization is a student project completed as part of an SDU / Danfoss case. The project focused on improving heat production planning for a district heating utility by balancing availability, cost efficiency, and electricity market opportunities.
Overview
The project was centered around three main goals:
- secure heat availability for all buildings in the district heating network
- produce heat at the lowest possible cost
- utilize the electricity market for the highest profit or lowest cost
